Well my first post here definitely has to be about the craziest place I´ve visited so far, Transninstria, which is a pro Russian breakaway republic in eastern Moldova.
Guess you learn something new every day–I didn't even know these kinds of unrecognized countries still existed in Europe! Sometimes I feel like I should know better (my grandparents live in Romania💀)
Haha yeah it's quite easy to not find it since it's usually not marked as separated from Moldova on any maps. But definitely a unique place and worth visiting if you ever happen to be in Chisinau
